In times of stress and uncertainty, I always find myself running back to words of affirmations to help me get through.

Affirmations, in case ya didn't know, are nothing more than key phrases or sentences that contain inspiring, motivational, and positive messages.

These words when repeated multiple times, on a daily basis, can have a tremendous positive impact on your mental health, well-being, and self-empowerment.

The non-stop chatter in our brain that we are exposed to on a daily basis is usually negative self-talk and does nothing but bring us down, fill us with worry, and increase our anxiety.

Through words of affirmations, you can stop that annoying negative voice right on its track and instead shift your focus towards a more clear, light-hearted path.

Of course, words of affirmations aren't magic.

They aren't going to solve all of your problems, get you a job, or cure a disease, unfortunately. But if nothing else, it allows you to turn negative-anxiety-riddled thoughts into positives ones - and a positive mind can accomplish and think much more clearly than a negative one.

Here are ten affirmations I came up with to help me get through this next month of April. As we are all united during these unprecedented times, I hope you can find some comfort in these words during these trying days we are all facing together.

Write them down on a notepad or index cards and put them all over your house, mirrors, fridge, car, and/or nightstand.

Read them often. Out loud. And believe these words as if they were already true.

I am sending you all so much love dear friends. We all need it right now. More than ever.

You are not alone. You are loved. All is well.
