Beet Pineapple Lime Juice Recipe

A refreshing beet juice recipe that also has pineapples, lime, apples, and celery!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 small beets
  • 1 cup of chopped pineapple
  • 4 to 5 stalks of celery
  • 1 or 2 green apples
  • juice of one lime

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing your beets and other veggies and setting aside to dry. If your beets are fresh and have the beet greens attached, you can cut those off and save them for another recipe or you can juice them as well. However, I did not juice beet greens in this recipe so I do not know how that will affect the flavor.
  2. Using a juicer, juice the beets, one cup of chopped pineapple chunks, apples, and celery.. and any other veggies/fruits you’d like to include. Apples go great in this juice if you really want to cover the beet taste. Also, adding celery is a nice touch because it increases the water content and adds a little green in this really sweet juice.
  3. Squeeze the juice of one lime. Or two!
  4. Pour in a glass cup and enjoy! 🙂

Notes

  • As I mentioned above in the text, this is a really naturally sweet juice due to the high content of sugar in beets.
  • I have not tried this recipe in a blender, only in a juicer.
  • Adding lime really helps mask the flavor of beets so add as much as needed. I usually use one or two limes for mine.
