Dehydrated Pineapple Chunks Recipe

A tasty dehydrated pineapple chunks recipe – a naturally sweet treat!

  • 1 to 2 ripe pineapples

Instructions

  1. Cut and peel the pineapples. Cut in half. Then cut the halves in half, and begin cutting up the chunks. I try to aim for chunks/slices that are 1/4” thick up to 1/2” thick. You don’t want to make them too thin nor too thick.
  2. Place pineapple chunks/slices on dehydrator mesh sheets and dehydrate on 135F (dried fruit setting) overnight or for 12 hours.

Notes

  • Store left over dried fruit in an airtight glass container and store in the fridge. Will usually last 3 to 4 days depending on how dehydrated the fruit is. If there is moisture left in the chunks this can lead to spoilage and mold formation quicker.
