Ingredients
Scale
1 medium ripe banana
1.5 cups almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
1/4 cup walnuts
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 soft medjool date
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 cup ice (add last – read directions)
Instructions
Add all ingredients, except ice, to a blender and blend until smooth. Add ice last, and blend until ice has broken down fully. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
I like adding the ice last after everything has blended well because the blender warms up the drink during the blending process and will cause the ice to melt and then the smoothie won’t be cold.
